The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) will host a public Workshop on December 10 to discuss issues affecting the accuracy of traditional credit reports, tenant screening reports, and employment background screening reports. The Workshop will bring together various stakeholders, including industry representatives, consumer advocates and regulators, for a public discussion on the many issues impacting the accuracy of consumer reports.

Hudson Cook Partner Becki Kuehn will participate on a panel that will focus on disputes. Becki will also co-present a post-workshop teleseminar briefing for the Consumer Data Industry Association (CDIA) following the Workshop. To register for the teleseminar, visit the CDIA website.

More information about the Workshop can be found on the CFPB and FTC websites.
